What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel and why is it important for every marketer online make one?

It is a marketing strategy to convince potential customers to buy items from your business. It's a selling process that allows someone to visit your blog in search of information that can solve their issue. You can build a rapport with each person by making use of specific tools.

This will help you better understand the needs of each visitor. This will enable you to provide the most accurate information to each visitor. The visitor is more comfortable buying your product when you have earned their confidence. The visitor becomes a customer.

Some customers end up becoming very loyal customers, willing to buy any product you promote. A marketing funnel consists of all of the steps required to bring a frequent user of your site to become a loyal client and buy every product that you sell.

This is the main objective of every internet marketer. A well-designed funnel will achieve this very quickly.

Your marketing efforts are capturing people's attention, and drawing them to your funnel. The funnel is opened when they fill in the forms on your PERSONAL lead capture page. I use the word "personal" because no one is going to opt in to your lead capture for business page. They would like to be leaders, not an organization.

The page for lead capture is where they enter into the funnel - when they click the "Sign Up Now" or "Enter Here" button, they are entered into an entirely new idea of network marketing.

The most appealing part is that they are qualifying themselves to be able to do it. It's up to them. You've not offered anything other than that you are an instructor, leader and someone who will help them get more leads, and also more cash into their business.

This is how a typical marketing channel works.

On the "front-end" you have a free offer to attract and attract people who might be interested in purchasing your products later on in the sales funnel. To receive your product for free you must sign up (also known as opt-in), and provide your name and email address. In turn, you will include them on your mailing list.

You now have these people in your email list and you can offer them similar promotions that may be of interest to them.

They will be taken to the page with a low-price offer or trip wire deals right after they sign to receive the offer for free. This is where they move into the "back-end of the funnel."

If the person buys the lowest-priced deal, they will be taken directly to a similar offer at a more expensive cost (commonly known as an Upsell). And if the person also buys this higher priced offer, they'll be taken to the next related product at an even more expensive price. This can continue for a long time...
